Come and join us for a celebration of the life and works of Robert Burns on Friday 2nd February 2018.
This traditional Burns Night supper will be held at 29 Royal Exchange Square in the heart of Glasgow.
This will be a great chance to celebrate with fellow supporters of Scotland in Union, meet new people, and enjoy a night of whisky, haggis, poetry and bagpipes.
Ticket price includes a dram of whisky, your 3-course meal, shortbread, tablet and coffee.
MP Alistair Carmichael (Scottish Liberal Democrats) and MSPs Johann Lamont (Scottish Labour) and Murdo Fraser (Scottish Conservatives) will all be speaking at the event.
There will be a bar available for those wanting a wider selection selection of drinks.
Tickets cost £40 per person (plus the Eventbrite fee of £2.38 per ticket. To save paying the Eventbrite fees, or to reserve a ticket and pay after the new year, you can email us at firstname.lastname@example.org).
We look forward to seeing you there and leave you with this excerpt from "Does Haughty Gaul Invasion Threat":
“O let us not, like snarling curs,
In wrangling be divided,
Till, slap! come in an unco loun,
And wi’ a rung decide it!
Be Britain still to Britain true,
Amang ourselves united;
For never but by British hands
Maun British wrangs be righted!”
- Robert Burns
