If you can help please contact the owners (the SNP) as soon as possible.
Before heading off to China for a trade trip, Nicola Sturgeon warned she would be unable to keep in touch with her Twitter followers while she was away.
We recently revealed our new publication The Majority newspaper, which put the spotlight on the issues which concern many of our supporters about the impact the SNP’s neverendum is having on Scotland. Thank you so much to everyone who helped distribute 20,000 copies over the past month. We cannot exist without the help of our volunteers, and we are enormously grateful.
Nearly two years ago, the SNP launched the Growth Commission to re-evaluate the economic case for Scottish independence, including options on the currency question and how to plug that enormous black hole in Scotland’s finances. It has been widely tipped as the next White Paper, reigniting the road to indyref2.
So where is it? Expected initially in 2016, it has been delayed several times.
It’s almost exactly three years since Scotland in Union’s launch, on 5th March 2015.
At that event, I said:
‘We represent the majority of people in Scotland and in the UK. We are sometimes called the silent majority, but I prefer ‘the moderate majority’…we are sometimes quiet, but we are not quiescent; we are proud without being prejudiced; we are dignified and determined – and even if sometimes shouted down, we will not be silenced.
Many nationalists define being Scottish as somehow being exclusive, with Scotland standing alone, separate from the UK. We say “No” to that narrow view, and we say “Yes” to being inclusively Scottish.’Read more

At the weekend we once again had our teams out across Scotland.
The weather was wet, cold and snowy but our dedicated volunteers persisted and delivered our campaign message - that Scotland doesn’t want or need another divisive referendum.
Here's is a picture of some of the team out on Edinburgh's Princes Street on Friday.
Our new campaign literature that is currently being handed out by our teams of volunteers.

“O let us not, like snarling curs, In wrangling be divided”
Wise words from The Bard but sadly not everyone got the memo ahead of Scotland in Union’s inaugural Burns Supper.
A welcoming committee from the Scottish Resistance – at one point it was 10-strong- was there to greet our guests on Friday night. The irony of a group which purports to protect all things Scottish picketing a celebration of our nation’s greatest poet was obviously lost on them.
The St Andrews Students SIU Society held an informal Burns Night in a pub in St Andrews on 5th February, shortly after the students returned for the new term. The evening was a great success, featuring speeches and poetry, and some interesting discussion about how to promote the positives of the UK.
In a Scotland still harbouring an obsession with the constitution as part of its political discourse, the views of even the dead are up for debate and none more so than our national bard, Robert Burns.
Come and join us for a celebration of the life and works of Robert Burns on Friday 2nd February 2018.Read more
Our trade with the rest of the UK is worth £45.8bn - nearly 4 times as much as with the EU. #UKsingleMarket
Children’s wards shutting down, commuter chaos and a slump in Scottish exports were all areas ripe for comment when taking in the Scottish headlines this morning.
