Statement on COVID-19

We know that you will be concerned about the impact that COVID-19 (commonly referred to as coronavirus) will have on you and your loved ones.

At Scotland in Union our priority is the health of our volunteers, our supporters and our team. We urge you to follow the advice issued by the UK and Scottish governments, and would like to thank everyone who is working on the frontline in the NHS and everyone who is volunteering to help in their communities.

We are taking the following steps with immediate effect:

All physical campaigning (e.g. leafletting, street stalls) is suspended until further notice. If you have leaflets from Scotland in Union to deliver, please refrain from doing so until we advise otherwise.

All Scotland in Union events have been cancelled for the foreseeable future. This sadly includes all coffee mornings and the Scotland in Union birthday party. Those who have already purchased tickets will receive a refund. We hope to be able to celebrate at a later date.

The Scotland in Union staff team are all now working from home.

Please look after yourselves and continue to follow the latest official advice, which you can find at www.nhsinform.scot
