Scottish Government publishes a paper on devolution in Scotland in the years since 2016

The SNP Scottish Government has published a paper about devolution in Scotland in the years since 2016.

Pamela Nash, chief executive of Scotland in Union, said:

“If the Scottish Government wants to think about devolution, it should be examining its own performance in devolved areas.

“It would soon find stark failings in health, education, justice, transport and the economy.

“Given the many challenges we face right now, it’s disgraceful that SNP ministers want to spend more time stoking up grievance with Westminster.

“People aren’t interested in constitutional bickering from nationalists – they want a government that focuses on the things that matter most to them.”
